8 Things About Me

1. I married my high school sweetheart. We have been married for 13 years.

2. I love teaching. My Pre-School class is my family too. I would take them all home with me.

3. I have a sister that is 14 (Melissa).

4. I think that MLB is being unfair to Pete Rose. MLB players are Role Models now more than ever, but it's o.k. for them to do drugs and steroids. While Rose was a great player and coach he will never be put into the Baseball Hall of Fame, but your druggies that have been sent to rehab will be inducted...

5. I love to bake and cook. My favorites are Paula Deen, Rachel Ray and Bobby Flan.

6. I procrastinate when it comes to ironing. If you see my children or me with wrinkled clothes you know we were running late.

7. I am text message illiterate.

8. I love brussel sprouts dipped in ranch dressing. (YUMMO)


I hope you are happy Tonya, I actually had to run my brain today. I'll be a burn out tomorrow in class. (ha, ha). This was actually fun.....

Football Time, Where's The Cool Weather????

Well Football Time is here for us. Today was Clint's first game. They did not win, but Clint said he had a great time. I told him that was what counted. They all looked so cute in their uniform. They played a traveling team from Sparta, and boy do they grow them big in Sparta...
The final score was 26 to 6, hey we were excited to score 6. Our #41 run the punt return for our only points. Our coach is wonderful. He told the boys that They may have lost the game, but they were still winners for giving their all. Now thats a coach.
We'll be back on the field next Saturday at 2:15 and would love if any of you want to come out and help us yell.... Congrat to theWCHS team on their win last night. They brought on the rain....... That's all for now, we are going to the river for a little post game cool down...

Cupcakes & Popcorn

Today is Friday, thank goodness. This was our First Full week at school and I promised my class, if they were good this week we would do something fun. What's more fun than decorating chocolate cupcakes with gummy worms and bears and of course sprinkles. Sorry Mom's if we get a little messy today!!! WE LOVE TO HAVE FUN!!!!!!!!!

Here is a goodie for the class this week. I think everybody likes popcorn. How easy it was to make, I have goodies for a few more weeks so keep checking in. There are a few teachers at IC getting these too. They are having water day at IC today and the boys are excited about it. Curtis was up at 3:30 when Shawn was getting up for work. He ask me if it was almost time for school. Tomorrow is Clint's first football game at 12:00. He is all pumped up about it. I'll post pic later from his game. He is so cute in his football uniform. You can't tell where his head and shoulders meet.

To Much Party

Oh, my gosh. We did party way to much Friday. Curtis got up Monday morning with a 102 fever and sore throat. I called my mom and she said that my sister had the same thing. Both Curtis and Melissa tested positive for Strep Throat. How fun it is. He is fairing well, but complains when the med wears off. His biggest worry yesterday about missing school was he wasn't going to get to see Mrs. Gina. I told him she might not be there, and she wasn't. Clint came home and told him she was not there and he was happy.

Sunday, We had Kristys baby shower. Is it not so much fun to see all the cute little outfits and neat gifts. This is one of my favorites, beside my John Deere Tractor set of course. Kelly painted these for Wesleys room. I told Kelly that she was good. The shower went good, but Amber and I found ourselves standing up eating, but that was ok, because thoes mints were just to good. My thought if you stand it is going to go down faster and if its good you can eat more. I'll post when Wesley gets here. Our entire family is excited for Kristy, Ronald and Big Sister Chelsey. She was not left out, she got goodies too. Brother should not be the only one to get new outfits. Love you guys.

All My Wild Party Animals

We're All In This Together!!!!!!

We had our own little bash at home tonight. Granny, Pappa and Sissy (my sister), Kelly, Cody, Brianna, Keaton and Kristen joined us for our little High School Musical 2 party. The boys have been waiting all week for it. Mom and Dad delivered our pizzas, which will be feasting on all weekend ( yeah, no cooking for me). Keaton fell out before it even started, he is such a Party Animal (ha,ha). When Troy was making his big solo on the golf course, Clint ask aloud "Why would anybody just go out and start singing?" I swear he turns more and more like his dad everyday. Thanks to Granny and Pappa for the pizza, I think the kids were more excited to see them than to watch the movie. This is all for tonight. Clint has weigh in tomorrow morning for his football. I be posting football things very soon. It should be interesting..........

It's Football Time In Warren County

I made this hair bow for a special little Cheerleader. Kristen's big brother Ethan is playing for the Middle School Pioneers. She has a cheerleading suit to wear when he plays and need a bow for her beautiful white hair. Go PIONEERS!!!!!!

Mrs. Ann's Order

Mrs. Ann Taylor brought me some ribbon to make Alaina and Bella some hair bows. Mrs. Ann's daughter Allison and her family have moved to Ohio and Mrs. Ann is sending these to the girls. Ann I hope Allison likes these. These are some of my smaller ones and medium.

This is one of my favorite ones. I love to use bright colors and mix them all up. This one is one of my larger bows ($8). I can match any outfit or if you have specific colors you want.

How simple. This is one of my medium bows ($4). It was orded with a barrett. I can use barretts or little clips for the small ones.

Our First Day Of School!!!!!

Today was Clint's first day in 3rd grade and Curtis' first day in 1st grade. I can't wait to see how their day went. I was told that I was not to kiss them for any reason on school grounds. I was lucky to get to walk them into the front doors. We are looking for great years with Mrs. Betty and Mrs. Gina. We made them some little goodies for today. Mrs. Betty and Mrs. Gina are both wonderful teachers and the boys were so excited about this year.
