Last Minute Cuties

This is the cutest idea. If you have a golfer in your life this is for them.
The little poem goes, "You say you've lost too many balls, The course is just too tough? Just plant these little golf ball seeds, And soon you'll have enough! This is just too cute. I put jaw breakers in a jar and made a little cover for the lid. I also made one for another special golfer.
The boys had a ball making these cakes for their grandpa's. Papa Harry's was delivered yesterday, but Papa Earl's is still here. The boys and I had a good time this week getting everything ready for tomorrow. They have Shawn's presents and they are having a fit to give it to him, but I think were on the O.K. I hope everyone has a great FATHER'S DAY tomorrow.

Baby Shower Idea

Here is a cute idea for a baby shower. These little pacifiers are made of lifesavers, jelly beans and cookie icing. We had a baby shower at church Sunday for baby Weston and I made these. Girls these are so easy to make and cute to decorate with also.
Weston's room is going to be John Deere so I used yellow, green and blue jelly beans. I used wintergreen lifesavers, but found some that were orange flavor and still white. I will use them next time. You use the icing to glue the two lifesavers together and let them dry first. They need to dry about 4 hours. After they dry you put a dab of icing in the center and stick the jelly bean on. I saw this in a magazine and thought it was cute. We put ours in the back of a wagon hooked onto a toy tractor for a center piece. It would also be cute to run curly ribbon through the hole and hand them on a branch made to look like a tree for a center piece. Clint and Curtis had a ball helping me make these.

Clint's The Big 10

My, my how time flies. Just yesterday he was a little bundle depending on me for everything. Now, he does it all. Clint has made his dad and I very proud. He is so headstrong that when he sets his mind to it, it does get done. I guess you could say he's the Gitter-Done guy.
My heart fills with pride and my eyes with tears when he leads prayer. I am so amazed at how wonderful his prayers are. They absolutely touch my heart. Clint we are so very proud of the young man you are becoming. He loves to hunt and play football. Just look at the baby picture and his football picture, he has grown up so fast. We love you very much.
Clint shared his special day with some friends they swam and jumped on the trampoline. The chocolate cupcakes with Reese's cups inside were a big hit. He loves chocolate and Reese's. He is his mother's child. Kristen is to the left, Ethan (aka E man), Courtney, Keaton, Clint and of course his little bro. Curtis. The kids had a good time. When Shawn got home Clint choose to eat at Ming's Buffet. I think we all got our tummies full. We took a little trip to Murfreesboro last Friday to celebrate too. I hope all my kiddo's from Westwood are having a great summer. I miss you guys already.

Summer Time

Oh, yeah! It's summer time. We are having a great time so far. We are enjoying our trampoline ( which now has the cage around it). You never know who might show up and jump with us. We love having company. If anyone wants to come hang out with us just yell and well plan a fun day.

This picture just goes to show how little it takes to entertain some kid's. This pool is just tiny and the kids managed to have way fun with it today. They were busy for several hours. I love to get wet with them, but my English class is keeping me busy. I am loving it though. The kids are looking forward to our little adventure in July and they are already asking when school will start back. I hope everyone has good time this week! Hey Kelly, I bet you on the post. You need to update your blog! lol.

Nashville Sounds

Today we journeyed to The Nashville Sounds Game. Both boys meet their AR requirements, I am very proud of them. Lori, Kristen and Keaton went with us too. Keaton wouldn't let me make his picture he is a little camera shy. We all had a good time. When we came back through Murfreesboro, we had to stop at one of my favorite places "Toot's". Where else can you get outrageous Fried Dill Pickles. Girls if you haven't had them you have to try them. Thanks Turner's clan we had a great time!!! I hope everyone has a great day.

New Painting

We have been in our new room for almost 2 years now and I am just now getting something on the wall. Kelly painted us a G on this darling polka-dot canvas. She is Shawn's cousin and a great friend to me. I was so excited when Kelly brought it to me at school Monday. Thanks Kelly. We love it. This picture does not do it justice, the glare is bad.
