We had to get out just a little bit. Most of the snow here is gone, but it was snowing a little bit while we were outside for a total of 5 minutes. I love the new system the School System is using to call and let parents know about school closings. It called us about 9:29 last night.
For those of you who don't know those other kiddo's in the pic, Keaton and Kristen. Kristen is almost always with me after school. I think she's part mine, but she loves Shawn more. Curtis is sick and begged to go so I let him go out just for the pictures. I wanted to get the buttercups in the shot, but they got in front of them. My granny always said it would snow on the buttercups and it always has. I'm going to enjoy my snow day and clean house and cook a good supper for tonight. Have a great day off.
On Friday we will be attending the Native American Showcase at MTSU with Clint's class. We hope to get to go, but we love the snow. I'll post pics later from our trip.

Oh, Yeah!!!!
I have been going back to school at Motlow. I was very unsure about going back, but thanks to Shawn, Mom and Tonya I bit the bullet. I am taking America History. I love the class. We have had one quiz and a essay. I made 100's on both. I faced my big bad wolf last Monday night. We had our first exam. I studied and studied. I felt like the more I studied that the less I knew.
As soon as he laid that test on my desk, I had a heart attack. I thought I was ready for this. The entire process of learning to study all over again was overwhelming. So last night was the tell tell. The teacher handed out the test and boy was I excited....
I was so excited as soon as I left class I called Mom, then I called Melissa. I could not call home because Shawn and the boys were already in bed. Shawn has to be at work at 4:00 a.m. and I didn't want to wake them. I got home a just could not help it. I bounced on the bed and announced that I got a B on my test. Shawn was happy, but he didn't want to see it. I wonder why? I look back on my former years in school and I didn't seem to be as excited about an 86 then, as I am now.
Well I am hoping for snow tonight so that I can get some sleep tomorrow. I had way to much excitement last night. I've got to make sure Shawn sees my test tonight.
Keep Andy and his family in your prayers and also the Mingle family.

PARTY WITH GNASH
Last Saturday was Cody's 7th Birthday. The Party had a great suprise guest coming, but the kids did not know who it was. When Gnash arrived all the kids went crazy. I wish I could have been there, but I had to leave before he got there.
The boys called me as soon as they go home and were so excited that Gnash came to Cody's party. He gave them Posters, stickers, keychains and signed pictures of him. They talked about it for days. Thank you Cody for inviting us to your awsome party.
